LinkedIn is full of training videos, webinars and interviews, but it gives you no way to save them. There is no Download button on other people's posts. The good news: all you need is the post link to get the video, as long as it is public.
Step 1: copy the post link
- On desktop: click the three dots at the top right of the post, then "Copy link to post".
- On mobile (LinkedIn app): tap the three dots or the Share icon, then "Copy link".
The link looks like linkedin.com/posts/... or a short lnkd.in/... link. Both work.
Step 2: paste it into the tool
Open the LinkedIn downloader, paste the link, choose Video MP4 (or Audio MP3 if you only want the sound), then tap Download. No LinkedIn login is needed.
Step 3: find the file
- iPhone: open the Files app, then the Downloads folder. To get it in Photos, open the video, tap Share, then "Save Video".
- Android: open the Files app, Downloads folder.
- PC and Mac: the file is in your browser's Downloads folder.
If it does not work
Most of the time, the post is not public. Open the link in a private window: if the video does not play while logged out, the tool cannot fetch it either. Videos from private messages, private groups and non-public events are not available. More tips in our guide on why a download fails.
Only use videos you own or have the creator's permission to use.
