When you save a video straight from TikTok, it contains an animated logo with the creator's name moving around the picture. That is annoying if you want to keep the video for yourself, show it to someone, or repost it with the creator's permission. The good news: there is nothing to "erase". You just need to start from the video link instead of the version saved by the app.
Why the watermark appears
TikTok's "Save video" button adds the logo during export. The original file does not have it. A tool like SeeSaveIt fetches that original file from the post's public link.
The steps
- Open the video in TikTok, tap Share, then Copy link.
- Open the TikTok download page and paste the link in the box.
- Choose Video MP4 and tap Download.
- Find the file: in the Files app on iPhone, in the Downloads folder on Android, or in your browser's download folder on a computer.
You do not need to log in to TikTok, and there is nothing to install.
What can stop the download
- Private account: only public videos are available.
- Deleted or hidden video: the link no longer leads anywhere.
- Incomplete link: copy the whole link, including the
vm.tiktok.com/... or tiktok.com/@.../video/... part.
Respect the creator
A video without a logo is still someone's work. Keep it for personal use, or ask the creator's permission before reposting, and credit them.
In short
There is no watermark to remove: just download from the video's link. If you only want the music or sound, choose Audio MP3 in step 3.
